Finding us is easy.
Our home is the Keith LePage Community Boatshed in Paquita Park. Located on the edge of the Sir Douglas Mawson (main) Lake, we share it with the rowing and canoe polo clubs. It has toilets and showers (including for the disabled) as well as a common area and exclusive workshop and dedicated storage area for our use. Out the front is a great launching platform, outdoor seating and a number of shady trees. Parking is plentiful.
Club Organised Days
Tuesdays and Saturdays
Take the Mawson Lakes Boulevard which runs off Main North Road into the Mawson Lakes central business district.
At the roundabout turn into Park Way and then at the first street on the right into First Avenue.
Follow it to the end through the roundabout into either of our 4 designated car parks or on the weekends only into the general parking area for Technology Park (they don’t mind us using their spaces on weekends). On weekends we try to avoid parking in the nearby Douglas Drive, and other streets leaving it for the residents and businesses but on weekdays street parking is the only option. Respect for residents and businesses is paramount at all times.
Limited disabled parking is available down the driveway on a first come first served basis which we manage for those in most need. Be assured we seek to have it extended.
Member Organised Days
Wednesdays and Sunday Mornings
We don’t have sole access to the boatshed on these days so Wednesday sailing takes place at the northern end of the lake adjacent Innovation House and on Sundays from the old boat-deck site on the Boulevard side of the lake. There are street parking restrictions in place on the Boulevard during the working week, but for Sunday mornings, Salisbury Council has lifted the restriction to allow car parking in several limited places.
Sunday Afternoons Laser Group
Racing takes place at the northern end of the lake adjacent Innovation House starting at 1pm on scheduled days - with access to the shed.
